Bear Scan 16
The TSGC Bear Scan 16 is an economical and reliable
bearing temperature monitor which is continuously online to alert
management of potential problems with overheated bearings and
misaligned leg belts.
The Bear Scan 16 monitors from 1 to 16
points using thermostats with pre-selected temperatures. (Examples:
150 and 180 degrees). When the individual thermostat's pre-selected
temperature is reached, the Bear Scan monitor will instantly set off
an audible alarm, and the corresponding lamp will light up on the
display panel indicating the exact problem point. This alarm will
remain activated until the problem point has cooled sufficiently to
close the thermostat. If a thermostat or a wire connecting the
thermostat to the monitor is broken, the system will alarm in the
same manner.
The Bear Scan 16, powered by 120V AC, comes
standard with internal contacts for additional alarms and is wired
in series for easy user installation, if so desired.
